Marcus Janssen

Chief Executive Officer

In 2012, Marcus retired from the Marine Corps with a dream of returning to the agricultural community of his youth and making things better for farmers. And that’s where Crucible Ag’s story began!

He wanted growers and producers to have access to the technology and resources that would enable them to achieve return on investment and operate effectively in highly regulated environments.

After a few years of working to understand what growers needed, his dream began to take shape when he accepted a challenge from a grower to set himself apart! He told Marcus to come back with something different that would work, be affordable, and would provide a healthy environment for his family. That seemed like an enormous challenge, but as it happened, he found a way to deliver that and more!
